Q: What is your favourite colour?A: GreenQ: Who first inspired you to start making/ creating and what words of advice did they give you?A: Both my mother and grandmother were always sewing or knitting and so it only seemed natural that I should join in. I don't remember any particular advice, but they certainly taught me lots. Q: Where and when do you most like to work?A: I like working in the mornings best; I work in my studio because it is light and white and keeps me focussed.Q: Which season of the year most inspires you?A: SpringQ: What can't you work without?A: Music and chocolate.Q: Whose work do you most admire?A: Terry Frost, Bridget Riley, Willem de Kooning, Aaron Siskind...to name but a few...Q: What is your favourite piece of fiction and why?A: Alice in Wonderland because it is extravagantly absurd.Q: What do you do to relax?A: Garden and play tennis.Q: Describe your artistic style in 3 words.
