Product info
I love to make up stories, and this piece is part of my story about ‘Trolley men’. The Trolley men are little people who set out on adventures but want to take their home comforts with them!
In this piece George is fed up with where he lives so he's upped sticks and is moving his house himself!
Decorative porcelain, copper and wooden figurative piece.
Care instructions
Do not immerse in water. Clean the porcelain surface carefully with a slightly damp cloth - take care not to over-wet the copper parts as this could damage the patination of the metal.
Materials
Hand built porcelain with ceramic transfer illustrations (these are permanently fired into the glaze). The hand-made copper elements and wheels are added after the final firing and treated with a patination solution to give the darker colour. Please note - these pieces are based on 17th Century Staffordshire flat-backs - hence they are blank on the back and designed to be viewed from one side only.
Dimensions
Width: 14 cm Height: 11 cm Depth: 4.5 cm
