This unique perfume bottle has a blown glass base with a kiln formed and hot glass stopper.
Clean with any glass cleaning product. It is best to handle the stopper by the flower.
First the blown glass perfume bottle is made in the glassblowing studio, along with the tendril and the stem of the stopper which are also made of hot glass from the furnace. I then take the bottle back to my studio where I make a flower out of coloured sheet glass. Each flower is fired twice, once to fuse it and a second time to shape it. I then attach the tendril and stem to the flower to make the stopper. The stopper is ground into the neck of the bottle to achieve a tight fit.
