A inside look of three vessels
Biog
I have just recently graduated from Hereford College of Arts where I studied a degree in Contemporary Applied Arts. Since I was a child I have always been making something, whether it using paper or drawing as I have always enjoyed just sitting down and concentrating on making something. I didn’t realise until I had got older that this is something I could then do with my life.
It was during my years at college that I first got interested in clay. For the last part of my degree I started experimenting by making moulds of a twisted shape that I made from paper. From these moulds I make a slip cast from them. As with slip casting each shape is the same however I make them unique by then covering them with patterns.
I am inspired by fairy tales, imagination and the surreal. I take something and make it into something like from a dream. Through drawings I scan these into the computer and manipulate them on Photoshop to get designs which I put onto my vessels and plates.

"Over the past few months i have purchased two beautiful vases and one necklace. All vibrant in colour and fun quirky designs. Completely different from what you can buy on the high street, i would recommend you all to take a look at what this promising new artist has to offer."
