As well as exhibiting in national and international exhibitions, I have completed commissions for museums and private collections, installations and hotels.
I enjoy combining other materials with ceramics. I use wood, slate, stone and precious metal gilding to create a sense of balance and harmony with my work.

Q: What is your favourite colour?A: BlueQ: Who first inspired you to start making/ creating and what words of advice did they give you?A: I grew up in a really creative environment. From an early age I dreamt of being an artist. Thankfully my family never once tried to talk me out of it!Q: Where and when do you most like to work?A: My studio is on the edge of a field and is really peaceful. My best time to work is at night, when I find I am most inspired and least interrupted! The time really flies.Q: Which season of the year most inspires you?A: SpringQ: What can't you work without?A: Music and good lightQ: Whose work do you most admire?A: I love the work of Morandi, Piet Stockmans, Peter Randall Page, Ryoji Koie the list is long and varied....Q: What is your favourite piece of fiction and why?A: 'The Alchemist' by Paolo Coehlo. I read it at an impressionable age and it has stayed with me.Q: What do you do to relax?A: Long walks in the countryside, reading, photography,theatre visits, travel and going to exhibitions.
