Jewellery making is my second career but my first love. Having worked for many years in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist, I took a career break when my third child was born, and never looked back. I had been making jewellery as a hobby for as long as I can remember, initially beaded jewellery, then moving onto metalwork. I finally took the plunge and completed a full time diploma in jewellery and silversmithing over 2 years, at Birmingham City University's School of Jewellery. Having qualified with triple distinction in 2011, I have now started my own business as a jewellery designer-maker.
