The brooch bar which I would describe as a book tile has been lovingly created using the cover from an old book written by a lady author. The corners are rounded to make it more aesthetically pleasing then the edges are covered with a line from the book. The roses are formulated from the pages within, using the paper filigree technique. One or two are embellished with faux pearls taken from a necklace from another decade and backed with a brass pin.
