This gorgeously soft blanket is handwoven in a warm and fluffy lambswool. While the majority of this blanket is a deep neutral the accent yarn of the corals and reds are hand dyed. This creates a wonderful contrast and makes the colours really 'pop'.
The tassels are hand plaited which I believe give an individual and homely finish.
All my blankets are unusually large for handwovens. They have a natural crease down the middle which comes from the weaving process and proves their hand made quality. They all improve with use!

Wash by hand in warm water with woolen detergent and a touch of softener. Spin dry but do not tumble dry or the blanket will shrink. Re-shape whilst damp. Blanket comes with a cedar ball to aid in the fight against moth (every wool lover's nightmare!).

This blanket is made with a Yorkshire-spun 100% lambswool yarn. In order to weave such a wide blanket I weave two halves at the same time joining it with my weft. This leads to the natural crease in the centre made by the weft yarn. On most, this is barely noticeable, but it is the true mark of a handwoven blanket. Off the loom this blanket would have measured 180cm by 220cm and shrinks with the fulling process which give such a beautiful, touchable and lovable cloth.
