Florrie’s handmade knitted scarves and gloves caught my eye at Origin 2010. The colours and design from Florrie’s Sonia range made me think of the 1920s and 30s. The splash of red adds a playful edge to a classic black and white theme.

The Tai range is also gorgeous. The wool is so soft to touch I wanted to wrap a scarf round my neck right there and then – there was quite a nip in the air at Origin on the day I visited.
