Returns Policy

Free returns!

We hope you’ll love whatever you choose on Seek & Adore. However, should you wish to return an item, you can return most items within 7 days of receiving it completely free of charge.

To give you even more reassurance, we also accept returns up to 28 days (from receipt of your order) – but if you decide to return an item after the 7 day period has expired, the maker of the product may ask you to pay the return postage. There are a few items that we sell which are non-returnable. Where this is the case, it will be made clear on the product page but non-returnable items include: 

  • personalised items that are specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name, fabric, message or other customised aspect;
  • personal products such as underwear, jewellery (especially earrings), cosmetics;
  • large items of furniture which are often specially made or ordered;
  • homeware that is made up in your own choice of fabric or material, such as lampshades, throws, cushions and other items;
  • art, sculpture, ceramics and other creations that are often specially commissioned when you place an order; or
  • perishable products, including food and flowers.
How to return an item

If you decide to return a purchase, please contact the maker who provided the product before you send the item back. You should always contact the maker before you dispose of a product – even if it is faulty – as the maker may still require you to return the product.

To contact a maker about a return, log on to Seek & Adore and click “Your Account”. Select “Your orders” and click “View” next to the relevant order. Then click the “Return this item” button next to the purchase you wish to return. You will be asked to indicate a reason for the return and an email will be sent to the maker of the product. The maker will reply to you within 48 hours to say whether they can accept the return, the address to which the item should be returned and to indicate the postage method you should use. Our makers will only decline a return if the order is older than 28 days or if the item can not be returned (see above). Please package the returned item exactly as it was shipped to you – we recommend that you keep all our packaging until you have decided whether you will be returning the item so you can re-use it if necessary.

Please return your order by recorded or registered post as advised by the maker. Once the maker receives your returned order – provided the product is in its original condition – the maker will refund your order. The money should then be returned to your account within 3 working days.
