Seek & Adore is different from other retailers. We believe that the lion’s share of the price you pay should go to the person who made the product. After all, they provided the time, passion and skill that produced the product.
In order to keep our costs low and to make sure that the majority of the price you pay goes direct to the maker of the product, we don’t hold stock. When you buy a product, we send the maker an email alerting them to your order. Only when the maker accepts your order do we take payment from you. We also send you an email to let you know your order has been accepted. The maker of the product then dispatches your order. All our makers send out orders within 48 working hours of accepting the order. Your order will be sent by either Royal Mail or Parcelforce depending on the delivery option you select at the checkout. Either way, you will be emailed a tracking code so that you can monitor your order’s progress. Please be aware that you will need to sign for the item when it arrives, otherwise the parcel will be taken to the post office/Parcelforce for collection.
You can order more than one item – in fact, you may find it difficult to resist! – and you will only have to input your card details once even if you order from more than one maker. However, your card will be charged separately for each part of the order if you chose products made by more than one maker. Your products will also be sent separately by each maker – and may, therefore, arrive at different times. You will be sent a tracking number by each maker so you can track the progress of each part of your order.
If you have a question about the status of your order or a product query, the best person to contact is the maker of that product. You can do this very simply by logging on to Seek & Adore and clicking on “Your Account”. Select “Your orders” and click “View” next to the relevant order. Then click the “Order enquiry” button next to the product you wish to enquire about and type and send your message. Your message will be delivered straight to the maker’s in-box – and they guarantee to respond to you within 48 working hours. Since the maker sends your order and knows their products best, they are best placed to answer 99% of all questions.
